7 Bible Verses To Get You Through This Semester

The hot and lazy days of summer are coming to a close and we're all back at school. It can be hard to keep up with your faith while also trying to keep up with school work, so here are seven common situations paired with bible verses to get you through these next few months.

When you need to be reminded that you are a strong woman who can handle her heavy class schedule:

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. // Psalm 1:3

When you just want to chew out that one girl who always borrows your pens but never gives them back:

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. // 1 John 4:7-8

When you’re friends are gossiping and you are tempted to join in:

Anyone can find the dirt in someone. Be the one who finds the gold. // Proverbs 11:27

When you feel completely hopeless and afraid you’ll totally bomb that exam next week:

God didn’t bring you this far to leave you. // Philippians 1:6

When you’re walking down that one flight of stairs in heels and you see your crush across the quad and are afraid of face-planting:

God is within her, she will not fall. // Proverbs 46:5

When you’re random roommate is being especially unpleasant:

Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. // Luke 6:27-28

When you are homesick and need to be reminded you left your hometown to move onto bigger and better things:

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. // Philippians 3:13
