FAQ

1. IS THE DELIGHT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE MANDATORY?

Although the Delight Leadership Conference is not mandatory, we strongly suggest that ALL leaders attend. 

 

2. DOES MY TICKET PRICE INCLUDE LODGING?  

Yes & No! This year's retreat will take place in Nashville, Tennessee. All of the conference events will be held at one locations and lodging will be completely separate. We will provide all attendees with the option to sign up to stay in a host home. If you want to stay with a host family in Nashville then you must register before May 1st. Be sure to mark that you will be needing a host home on the registration form. During the summer, we will match you with a local family who will provide you with a place to stay in their home. You will be matched to a host home with everybody who is in attendance from your leadership team. This will be at no extra cost to you.

If you do not sign up for a host home before May 1st then you will be responsible for finding your own accommodations. There are plenty of great hotels in the area! 
 

3. DO I HAVE TO STAY IN A HOST HOME?  

 No, not at all! Feel free to provide your own lodging arrangements. You can stay with friends or family members who you might know that live in the Nashville area, OR you can choose to book a hotel room. Just be sure to mark on the registration form that you won't need a host home. 
 

4. DO I NEED TO BRING EXTRA SPENDING MONEY? 

Your ticket price will cover the majority of your meals, however you will want to have extra money for purchasing Delight merchandise (sweatshirts, t-shirts, mugs, journals, etc.) and for some of your meals.  
 

5. WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE IN NASHVILLE? / WHEN SHOULD I LEAVE? 

The conference will take place ALL day (8:30 am-10:00 pm) on August 11th and 12th. You should arrange to arrive in Nashville on the day before the conference and plan on leaving the morning after the conference. Your host homes will be happy to accommodate you from the 10th-13th. 


6. IF I FLY IN AND DON'T HAVE A CAR, HOW WILL I GET AROUND NASHVILLE? 

Nashville has both Uber and Lyft services that will always be an option. You can also arrange rides with other leaders who will be in town for the retreat by posting on the Delight Leadership FaceBook Page. We promise that there will never be someone without a ride! 


7. WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER? 

Earlybird registration ends March 1st ($80). The final deadline for registration is June 1st ($100). Be sure to register early if you know for sure that you plan on attending. 

8. CAN I ATTEND THE CONFERENCE WITHOUT MY ENTIRE LEADERSHIP TEAM? 

Yes of course! One, two, or ALL are welcome. There will most likely be other individuals who attend without their leadership teams, so you won't be the only one. 

9. WILL THERE BE DOWN TIME TO EXPERIENCE NASHVILLE? 

Yes! You will have a few hours each day of down time to explore the city. We have lots of suggestions for restaurants, coffee shops, and fun things to do during your breaks!
