FAQ

1. Is the Delight Leadership Conference mandatory?

Although the Delight Leadership Conference is not mandatory, we strongly suggest that ALL leaders attend. It's basically the BEST TIME EVER! Your entire team should truly make the effort to be there. It will make a HUGE difference in your Delight chapter! 

2. Does my ticket price include lodging?  

Yes and No - If you are one of the first 100 people to register, you will receive the option to stay at a host home. During the summer, we will match you with a local family who will provide you with a place to stay in their home. You will be matched to a host home with at least one other person from your leadership team. This will be at no extra cost to you.

If you are not one of the first 100 people to register, you will be responsible for arranging your own accommodations in Nashville. We have to be super strict with this rule this year. If one of your team members is not in that group of 100, unfortunately, they will not be able to join your host home. We only have so many spots for host homes, and we want to honor those that register early.

3. Do I have to stay in a host home?

No, not at all! Feel free to provide your own accommodation arrangements. You can stay with friends or family members who you might know that live in the Nashville area OR you can choose to book a hotel room. Just be sure to mark on the registration form that you won't need a host home. 

4. Do I need to bring extra spending money? 

You will need money for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Thursday, and any extra money you might want for purchasing Delight merchandise. 

5. When should I plan to arrive in Nashville / When should I plan to leave?

The conference will take place ALL day (8:30 am-11:00 pm) on the 8th and 9th. You should arrange to arrive in Nashville on the day before the conference and plan on leaving the morning after. Your host homes will be happy to accommodate you from the 7th-10th. 

6. If I fly in and don't have a car, how will I get around Nashville?

Nashville has both Uber and Lyft services that will always be an option. You can also arrange rides with other leaders who will be in town for the conference by posting on the Delight Leadership Facebook Page. 

7. When is the deadline to register? 

Don't worry - you have plenty of time to register! The final deadline to register for the Delight Leadership Conference is June 1st. Priority for host homes will be given to the first 100 who register. Be sure to register early if you know for sure that you plan on attending.  

8. Can I attend the conference without my entire leadership team? 

Yes, of course! One, two, or ALL are welcome. There will most likely be other individuals who attend without their leadership teams as well, so you won't be the only one. 

9. I really want to go but finances are a HUGE issue for me. What should I do?
