HOW COULD THE LORD BE CALLING ME TO MINISTRY AND SPEECH PATHOLOGY?
I prayed and asked the Lord that if the RD position is where He wanted me, that I would trust Him, I got the job offer from the team and was also told I would move thousands of miles away from Ohio to Florida. I didn’t have all the answers, and none of this was “going according to plan”, but God gave me his unwavering peace, and so I was obedient and said yes. I was able to defer my acceptance to graduate school and will start my grad program in the fall of 2026. Looking back, this is exactly where the Lord wanted me, I love my leaders and the people the Lord brought into my life since moving to Florida and I have further confirmation that this was His plan for me all along.”

The Regional Director Program is a fully support-raised position. We provide all of the training and resources you'll need to share your heartbeat behind the role and invite your community to partner with you in ministry!

The answer is two-fold. First, this is an opportunity to be fully dependent on the Lord to provide. Your ministry becomes even more impactful as you spend months sharing your vision and heart with others who will come alongside you for your year on mission. Second, Delight Ministries is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for the ministry at large. Our ministry is primarily supported by generous donors.

RDs are responsible for raising both their salary for the 10 months as well as an outlined ministry budget. The salary is a set range and the ministry expenses are around $9k-10k. These include all things for travel: gas, hotels, flights, rental cars, and food; retreat venue, food, decorations; and additional things like gifts, shipping, and workspace funds. The total amount needed to raise in order to thrive in this role is $45,000-55,000.

We believe in the power of in-person conversations and asks. RDs will meet in person or via Zoom to share their heart and passion for the RD role and how God has called them into it. After sharing their ministry vision, they will invite the person to partner with them during their 10 month position.

RDs will receive one-on-one coaching, monthly training, curriculum, and branded materials to use throughout the support raising process.
