Director of Leadership Development (LDP) & Chapter Growth

Delight Ministries is seeking a strategic, relational, and high-capacity leader to serve as the Director of Leadership Development (LDP- previously know as Regional Directors) & Chapter Growth. This role holds dual ownership over two critical functions: leading our national Leadership Development Program—a 10-month leadership program designed to equip and develop post-grad women to lead, discipline, and strengthen Delight chapters—and driving the national strategy for chapter growth and expansion across the country.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future leaders of Delight, scale chapter presence nationally, and build a best-in-class leadership development experience. The Director will serve on the Executive Team, lead the full ministry team, and play a key role in organizational strategy, growth, and culture.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Executive Leadership and Ministry Team Leader
Serve as a member of the Delight Executive Team contributing to organizational strategy, planning, and decision-making.
Responsible for revenue goals
Directly manages Chapter Growth Manager and LDP Manager
Provide coaching, accountability, and leadership development for all program staff
Serve as the primary decision-maker for major chapter issues and escalated ministry concerns and step in when necessary
Foster a healthy, high-performing team culture
2. LDP Program Oversight, Strategy, & Systems
Oversee program operations at a strategic level
Manage program budget and financial strategy
Ensure systems, processes, and infrastructure are scalable and effective
Lead key training moments, workshops, and development experiences for LDP program
Oversee content elements such as Equip Nights, cohort rhythms, and development milestones
Improve and provide direction for leader communication across all channels (newsletter, leader communications, etc.)
Oversee systems, books, logistics, and infrastructure at a high level
3. LDP Recruitment & Pipeline Development
Grow recruiting efforts and strategy in selecting LDP participants
Oversee application, interview, and selection processes
Build and strengthen a long-term leadership pipeline for Delight
4. LDP Fundraising & Donor Retention
Owns and sets individual fundraising goals for each LDP participant, ensuring everyone is equipped and on track
Actively coaches and supports LDPs through the fundraising process — training, accountability, and strategy to reach full funding
Monitors fundraising progress across the cohort, identifying who's falling behind and implementing targeted support plans
Tracks and reports overall program fundraising revenue, holding accountability to program-level financial goals
Transitioning LDP donors to ongoing Delight HQ supporters
Stewardship rhythms and touchpoints beyond the program year
Donor retention metrics and HQ giving vision
5. Chapter Growth & Expansion
Own the national strategy to reach 100 chapters in 18-24 months
Directly manage the chapter growth manager (lead intake, calls, onboarding)
Develop and test initiatives to drive lead conversion and chapter launches
Identify and remove bottlenecks in the chapter launch pipeline
Partner with marketing and recruiting to maintain strong lead flow
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong alignment with the mission and values of Delight Ministries
Proven leadership experience (nonprofit, ministry, or organizational leadership)
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and drive results
Experience developing people (coaching, mentoring, leading teams)
High emotional intelligence and relational leadership skills
Strong organizational and systems-thinking ability
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience (3+ years in all/majority of the areas below):
Experience in leadership development, discipleship, or cohort-based programs
Background in ministry, nonprofit leadership, or campus ministry
Experience with fundraising or development strategy
Experience building or scaling programs or systems

Measurable chapter growth toward 100 chapters in 18- 24 months
Strengthening the pipeline of LDP applicants through new recruiting efforts.
Improved systems and processes that support long-term growth
Improve chapter retention
LDP donors retained and giving to Delight HQ beyond the program year
LDP successfully funded each year
