DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS MANAGER
Full Time in Nashville, TN
Start Date: January 2026
The Development and Operations Manager is a key partner to Delight’s Advancement Team, helping bring structure, care, and momentum to everything we do behind the scenes. You are a natural task master and doer. You’ll organize systems, manage details, and follow through on projects — all while nurturing the relationships and rhythms that keep our ministry thriving.
The ideal candidate loves bringing order to complexity, thrives in a collaborative environment, and finds joy in helping a vision come to life through practical action. Every detail you manage and relationship you support will directly help Delight reach more women with the hope of Jesus.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Advancement Team Support
Provide daily administrative support to the Director of Advancement.
Manage scheduling, communication flow, and task follow-up to ensure priorities stay on track.
Assist with meeting prep, agendas, note-taking, and post-meeting action items.
Fundraising & Donor Care
Support donor management systems (tracking gifts, updating profiles, organizing acknowledgments).
Help coordinate donor communications and creative touchpoints (emails, thank-you notes, brochures, campaigns).
Lead alumni and “Delight Moms” community engagement and communication.
Support sponsorship relationships and event-related donor stewardship.
Assist in growing our network of monthly donors and large partners.
Help hit monthly and yearly fundraising goals.
Operations & Logistics
Oversee office organization and ordering (snacks, supplies, mail).
Manage shipping, inventory, and warehouse coordination for Delight products and events.
Pull and organize key data or reports for the Advancement team (giving reports, sales data, event metrics).
Support financial and administrative processes, including bill payment, reconciliations, and internal tracking.
Events
Provide logistical and administrative support for major events (e.g., Delight Conference, fundraising gatherings).
Help coordinate sponsor deliverables and assets (signage, brochures, gifts).
MUST HAVES
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and love bringing clarity to moving parts.
You thrive on creating order, following through, and keeping others on track.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
You’re comfortable managing systems and learning new tools.
You care deeply about the mission of Delight Ministries and desire to see it flourish through faithful stewardship and support.
Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Google softwares.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
A servant-hearted, team-oriented attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
OTHER MUST HAVES
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or similar experience
Ability to start working January 10th, 2026
Lives in (or willing to relocate to) the Nashville area
Experience in administrative, operations, or development support roles
A calling to work in women's ministry
